Be ahhhhhh pepper. Remember in the 70s how up lifting and happy all the people were in commericals? They skied, they danced, they smiled! Now people have people with large thumbs to help sell juicy fruit? Have you seen the new Juicy Fruit commercial? A guy standing in front of vending machine points with his huge thumb the size of a pool skimmer? It's disturbing.

I loved this one from the late 70s! Remember this one? Is that old Sage in high school?

Simone - apologies but it is going to tak 5.5 hours to download a flash plugin on my friggin dial-up connection at the cottage to see the commercial of which you speak... but if you are talking about the "I'm a pepper, you're a pepper, he's a pepper, she's a pepper, wouldn't you like to be a pepper too?" commercial, I say good find! That Dr. Pepper guy was cute (or so thought my 8 year old mind) He was in a sitcom called "Makin' It". I can still sing the theme song..

Ok, I got it. Yup, this is the one. I love his vest. That should definitely come back as a look - that and the hair and I ain't kidding. We have had the prison look for men going on for far too long. I try to get JPD to grow out his curls but he is afraid of the Art Garfunkel look.

The brown vest. They varied from cordouroy to pleather and some sort of fake croc material. Sexy.
